Alcohol & Drug Rehab for Verizon Employees

Altitude recovery center has given me a full scholarship for 30 days and they are providing me a ride to the airport and paying for my plane tickets. They are the only ones who has offered to give me a chance. I sent message to over 100 rehabs in the United States and no one would help me. My insurance company only pays for mental hospitals because I'm on medicare. I'm so excited for this opportunity of a lifetime. I'm suffering with severe grief from losing my daughter to suicide so I can't heal in a hospital setting. I need to be able to go outside and enjoy nature. So I'm very blessed for them to offer me a scholarship.

Excellent, caring staff. staff to client ratio is excellent. max 6 clients. beautiful quiet facility. cant even tell its a care facility. just looks like a lovely large old Camarillo residence.

My experience at Altitude Recovery was a positive one from beginning to end.I feel that some of the most important qualifications needed for a job in a detox/recovery home has to be empathy and the staff at Altitude Recovery has that. From the directors, the therapist, to the friendships that I made with others staying there, Anytime I needed someone to talk to or if I needed help with anything at all, someone was there for me. When you get to be my age, you don't think theres much left to learn, specially when the techs are much younger, but I learned a few things about myself through them.The case manager really helped me deal with things that kept taking me back to relapse and the chef made sure to accommodate everyone's diet preferences and she served us with a warm smile. At night there's a tech who I called my guardian angel. If you know you know. My days were peaceful, comfortable and most important I felt safe. A piece of advice, wherever you go. Go with an open mind and a positive attitude. Don't nitpick at what you don't like or don't agree with. Focus on the positive stuff that is going to help you in your recovery. It's all about you and what you want for yourself. I left a small piece of my heart at Altitude because I was ready to learn to love myself again and these people were there to walk me through it with both professionalism and empathy.

I've been to a lot of recovery places over the last 10yrs trying to get sober Altitude Recovery was hands down the best one I've encountered with. Awesome people. I made long term sober friends and was guided through some of the best recovery of my life. These people who work here are truly one of a kind, and I am forever in their debt for the service they gave me. I wouldn't recommend anyone else if you are needing help with a drug or alcohol problem.

10/10 recommend. Great staff with an understanding of addiction and recovery. Truly helped me see myself without rose colored glasses, and gave me perspectives and insights on my journey that changed my mindset.. Taught me the importance of being present, and showed me how crucial boundaries and communication are. Nicole and Angela and Emily and Lindsay and Britton and Tina and Dan showed care compassion and selflessness towards me and on my behalf, and Alex (fitness) and Kimmy (sound bath) showed me lifelong coping mechanisms and tools I will use for years to come, and Sean showed me absolute resiliency and that you can’t take others at face value.. gotta always remember as individuals we are our own prize.. gotta create borders. Lots of lessons and growth developed thanks to altitude. What an experience.

Now I’m coming up on 10 month's, I work in treatment, I’m a present father, and I finally found joy out of life again. It all started at Altitude, and I’ll forever be grateful to everyone there and that program 🙏

Altitude Recovery is a beacon of hope and healing! My time at this luxury detox facility was nothing short of transformative. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warmth and understanding. The staff, who exuded professionalism and compassion, provided me with the support I needed to safely medically detox. The serene and upscale environment of the facility added an extra layer of comfort to my journey. Every aspect of my stay, from the personalized care to the luxurious amenities, surpassed my expectations. The five star chef prepared amazing food daily and would cater to whatever dietary needs clients may have. One of my favorite amenities Altitude includes as part of the recovery experience is having an amazing personal trainer come in weekly to help clients begin their journey back to health by encouraging client wellbeing by lifting weights in their newly incorporated gym area and if you are still detoxing and not quite ready to lift the trainer is happy to take clients on walks in the beautiful neighborhood to get out and get blood flow going and get in some California sunshine. Altitude also has an excellent Yoga instructor who comes in weekly as well who will preform reiki energy healing on clients if they choose to participate-which I highly recommend! I emerged from this experience feeling not only detoxed but rejuvenated in mind, body, and spirit. I am immensely grateful for the life-changing impact Altitude Recovery had on me. I loved this place and the staff. I would recommend it for anyone struggling with addiction. Nicole Strohm made my experience even that much better, she cares so deeply and shows you life skills and totally made me feel welcome and without her I truly don’t know what I would have done or where I would be. She’s such an inspiration, role model, mother figure, the biggest support and most loving woman. She has helped me through things I never in a million years thought I could get through. When I came to California for rehab, Altitude was not my first choice. I actually was flown in 2 hours away to a different rehab where I was Immediately sent to the hospital after telling them I was pregnant (so I could get a pregnancy test to confirm my statement was true), where they had left me there for 12 hours before Nichole (the main rockstar lady of Altitude), reached out to me and informed me that despite my pregnancy and me being 2 hours away, she sent out a Uber to safely transport me to her rehab where she made sure I was Greeted with a meal fit for a pregnant queen. The staff goes above and beyond in making sure your healthy, comfortable, and well fed by preparing 5star meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (don’t worry about picky eaters, you can write your favorite food on the grocery list by the fridge, and for your last day upon completion of the program, you get to ask for any meal you want special)! I felt more at home at Altitude than I have in my previous real homes that felt more like a prison, Altitude helped break me from my shackles of that life that haunted me so. Each member of staff made it feel so easy to talk to them about anything without judgment, which for me, made the hardest decision of my life seem possible by their side, where I was driven personally 2 hours away to make this decision reality and they allowed me a extra weak to stay there at altitude with them because I needed time to recover after words. Nichole in that weeks time had made a visit to the facility and the clients, and had decided upon her self to take us out on a outing to get icecream and to the some shop where she bought us one pack of cigarettes or a vape each out of her own pocket and I got to hear a little bit about her story and learn more about just how much she really cares and how recovery is more than just her job, it’s her passion and doesn’t stop helping her clients even after they leave Altitude, for she also had my Sober living set up and ride ready for me when the week was up, and keeps in contact to this day over a year later making sure I’m still sober, talk about true dedication.

I really enjoyed the space away to heal and grow giving the chance to retain my fellowship and civil matters through how understanding and nice the management were to me made me feel at home away from home thank you for this opportunity to grow through my difficulties and the direction given to live up to my full potential
